Join us for weekly peaceful, high-visibility protests to stand against the inhumane practices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). We'll gather on sidewalks to wave signs, raise awareness, and show solidarity with immigrant communities impacted by detention and deportation.
Meet at the intersection of NE Cornell Road and 25th Avenue in Hillsboro on Tuesdays - Nov. 18th, 25th, Dec. 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th.
This is a non-violent, family-friendly action open to anyone who believes in dignity, compassion, and justice for all. Bring your signs, your friends, and your voice! Dress for the weather as we will meet rain or shine.
Registration is optional, but will help us plan for space and volunteer leads.
If you are able to contribute, consider bringing nonperishable food items to donate to help us stock a local neighbor-to-neighbor food bank providing aid to immigrant families affected by the presence of ICE in the Hillsboro area.
✅ Bring signs or props → Make your message visible! (Ideas: No ICE in Hillsboro, ICE is not welcome here... Please keep it family friendly!) ✅ Bring a friend → The more people, the more power. ✅ Bring the FUN! → bubbles, tambourines, instruments, flags!
Plan to share the sidewalks with pedestrians, keep driveways clear, and keep yourself safe and out of traffic. Please support local businesses by stopping off for lunch afterward.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
